In Chile, at the San Alfonso Del Mar resort, a quick dip could well turn into a marathon, the largest swimming pool in the world. It is more than 1,000 yards long, covers 20 acres, it has a 115-foot deep end, and hold 66 million gallons of water, it has been named in The Guinness book of records as the biggest pool in the world.
